First Day Of School 8-10-09

Today was Preston's and Tatum's first day of school and I can't believe it's already here. Preston is starting 7th grade this year, what a big change for him. He woke up and got himself off to the bus stop at 6:40 in the morning. Tatum woke up with the good morning song and was also exited to get the day started. She got to school and was so happy to see her friends. She has a friend that is also named Tatum and both girls had the same outfit on from Justice. Hunter was ready to get home because it was hot. I think he is feeling a little left out if you can tell by his picture. So far so good, we will see how the rest of the week goes,day one couldn't have gone better!!!!!

Broadway at it's BEST !!!

Tatum and I went with Susan and her family, Jenny, Nana and Papa Frank to see the Lion King Broadway show. It was Tatum's and my first Broadway show and I fell in love. It was truly amazing. Then I went to see Wicked........OH MY GOSH !!!!! I loved it even more. I can't believe how those people can sing, it gave me chills. Now I will be seeing Phantom of the Opera in Nov. just in time for my birthday.

Summer trip to San Deigo

We went on our family San Diego trip over the 4th and did allot of fun things. We went to Balboa Park for the first time. We went to a car museum there and walked around. We also had a couple beach days at Carlsbad beach with the Alberti family, Nana, Papa Frank and Taylor were also at Carlsbad Beach. We went to Lego land for a day and Sea Port Village. It was a great trip hope we get to do it again next year. We are so grateful to Grandma and Grandpa Mahler without them we wouldn't have a place to stay. Your the best Grandpa and Grandma Mahler !!!!!

LEGOLAND

We went to Lego land and had allot of fun. Hunter loved to drive his little Volvo car and was happy to get a driver license. Preston,Tatum and I got soaked riding the pirate boats. It was so much fun Hunter was able to ride everything. Kevin still likes Sea World the best, but Lego land was still fun.

Fun at the Beach

We had a blast this summer at the beach. It's always fun to see the Alberti's and hang with them at their camp site. Hunter really liked the water this year and Tatum was learning how to boogie board. Preston wasn't in the water as much as he usually is,he forgot his wet suit. Kevin was trying to get a tan but it was so cloudy and cold every day he didn't get much of a tan. I always have fun sitting and watching the waves.

Good Bye Rocky

We had to say good bye to our dog Rocky he was a good dog that just needs a home with no kids. We will all miss him dearly, but we know he went to a good home !!!

Snakes and Scorpions OH MY !!!

Kevin found a rattle snake at our front door. I was so scared now when we walk out our door we are always on the look out for snakes and scorpions and who knows what else !!! AHHHHH

Slumber Party

Grandpa Gary bought Willow a saddle and it didn't fit so he is letting Tatum keep it for Butterscotch

Ringo

Grandpa Gary bought all the grand kids a colt. We named him Ringo. The kids have had a blast going over to see him they get to feed Ringo and some of the other horses too. We also had a blast out by Aunt Susie riding Willow. Our family has had a summer full of horses !!!
